Appaloosa horses are of many types, the polka dot being the most showy. Most have the spots, on others are over the back rump. These horses were a popular breed with the natives of North America.

I had an Appaloosa Stallion named Joe. He was White with a cinnamon dusting. My friend had an Appaloosa mare named Molly. She was Cinnamon colored with a powdered sugar dusting. We bred the two of them regularly and ALWAYS got the Bear-Paw Appaloosas. The Foals were generally black with a white rump and large black spots on the white rump. I LOVE THIS Appaloosa.
